Our management team actively communicates regarding the most current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local authorities to make business adjustments as needed. It is important to us to provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone while providing the financial services that you need.

Like many of our local community businesses, GCS Credit Union is currently experiencing considerable staffing strains. Due to this issue, our Pontoon Beach branch lobby is currently closed. Our full-service drive-up will remain open during regular business hours.

We recognize that wait times may be a little longer and drive-thru lines may be a little busier. Your patience during this time is appreciated, as we are working hard to take care of your financial needs in a timely manner. We are doing our best to recruit, hire, and train more staff, while maintaining the highest standards of member service. If you know of someone who may be interested in working for GCS Credit Union, please direct them to our career center, here.

We still encourage you to make an appointment to see a Member Service Representative by contacting the credit union at 618-797-7993. Our full service drive-ups are open during regular business hours at all GCS locations.

Online Services

To help control the spread, we recommend that you take advantage of our available online tools for self-service banking and 24 hour account access through our mobile, online, text and phone banking services. Through these channels, you can check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks, or find the nearest ATM.

GCS Employee Wellbeing

GCS has asked all employees to cooperate in taking steps to reduce the transmission of communicable diseases in the workplace. These steps include staying home when sick, washing hands often, wearing a mask, and cleaning frequently touched surfaces.

GCS Member Wellbeing

GCS will provide hand sanitizing stations in the lobby of each branch location. Please stay safe, wash hands frequently, and stay home if you are not feeling well.

While it is impossible for anyone to predict the spread of the virus and its impact, GCS will remain dedicated to our commitment of providing financial services to our members.

De acuerdo con el mandato del Departamento de Salud Pública de Illinois, ahora se requerirán máscaras faciales al ingresar a GCS Credit Union.
